INITIAL OPERATION
Obstacles can severely impair the of the transmission.
We recommend a minimum distance of 2.5 meters to all sources of interference, such as
televisions or computer monitors
Radio receiving is weaker in rooms with concrete walls (e.g.: in cellars) and in offices. In
such extreme circumstances, place the unit close to the window.
Protect the transmitter against any direct sunlight penetration.
First use :

Open the battery compartment on the rear side of the outdoor remote sensor and
insert the batteries. Pay attention to observe the correct polarity. Close in the
battery compartment

Plug-in the weather station to a wall socket.
-
All the icon on the LCD display will briefly light up for 3 seconds, and you will hear
a beep tone, and detect indoor temperature & humidity.
-
The receiver will now start to make a connection to the outdoor remote sensor.
This operation takes about 3 minutes and is displayed by a flashing reception RF
antenna symbol in the “OUTDOOR” display area on the receiver.

After receiver has created a connection to the outdoor remote sensor, it will then
enters the clock mode.
Backlight:

When using the station, the display backlight is always
active except while the station is searching for the
outdoor
temperature
sensor
signal.
With the slider on the back of the weather station, you
can choose the intensity of the backlight: HI (HIGH) for high brightness, or LO
(LOW) for lower brightness (for night, for example) .

When using the battery station (without the
adapter), the backlight of the screen is disabled.
If necessary, press the "SNOOZE / LIGHT" touch
button above the weather station to activate the
display backlight for 5 seconds.Briefly press the
SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the display lighting
for 5 seconds.
Date and time setting:
All setting buttons are on the rear side of the weather station.
Automatic setting (RCC function)
This weather station is designed to set itself automatically on reception of the radio signal
coming from close to Frankfort in Germany. It allows all European country within approx.
1500 kms radius around Frankfort to benefit from this radio signal. Summer and winter
time settings will be also automatic.
The unit starts searching for the DCF signal automatically after been start up. This
operation can take several minutes to several hours. Please do not hesitate to change of
room for the first reception. The unit automatically adjusts depending on the signal several
times a day.
If you cannot received the signal, you can choose the manual setting:
Manual Date and time setting

Press and hold down the “MODE” button for 2 seconds, the Year display 2012
starts to flash. Now use “

Press SET to confirm your setting, the Month display starts to flash. Now use “

There are 7 languages of Weekday: English, German, Italian, French, Spanish,
Netherlands, and Danish.
