3. If an extension cord is used,
a. the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as
great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
b. the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
c. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
rounding type 3-wire cord.
Notice:
This appliance has a 3-prong grounded plug. To reduce the risk of
electrical shock, this plug will fit in an outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit in the outlet, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT modify the plug in
any way.

MPORTANT
Open lid at a 90º angle, when pouring all of the water at once into another container.
This way hot steam will be diverted away from the hand holding the handle.
Caution:
Handle kettle carefully, the metal housing will become hot during and
after heating!
