Parking brake lock lever
Brake pedal
* Start engine only in well ventilated area to avoid inhaling poisonous exhaust
gases.
1. Confirm that the brake pedal is locked.
* Never turn the main switch to the "START" position when the engine is running.
This may damage the engine and starter motor.
* Do not rotate the starter motor longer than 15 seconds. If the engine does not
start within 15 seconds, return the main switch to the "OFF" position. Wait at
least one minute, then try the starter motor again.
* Warm up engine before starting in winter or cold regions. Starting the engine
cold may reduce engine and hydraulic equipment life.
