Note:
When the Sub Out is activated (On), the playback of the BRA 3 / VRA 3 will be limited to 80 Hz. Frequencies below 80 Hz are sent to the external
subwoofer.
Sub Phase [PHA]
Use the function Sub Phase to change the phasing of a connected subwoofer between 0 degree and 180 degree (phase inverted) relative to the BRA 3 /
VRA 3. Try a phasing of 180 degree in case the bass level at the crossover frequency (80Hz) seems to be much too low or completely off. This function works
for both, wirelessly and wired subwoofers.
To set the subwoofer’s phase to 180 degree resp. back to 0 degree, please do the following:
1
To enter the menu, press the "M" button.
2
Use the
" "
or " " button to navigate into the menu System Setup [SYS] and confirm with the "OK" button.
3
Select the menu item Sub Phase [PHA] and confirm with the "OK" button.
4
Change the setting using the "+" or "-" key and confirm with the "OK" button.
Note:
This parameter is only available when a wireless subwoofer is connected to the BRA 3 / VRA 3 or if Sub Out is set to On.
Lipsync [LIP]
Lipsync allows you to take corrective action when the sound of the BRA 3 / VRA 3 is not lip-synchronous with the image on the TV. The delay of the audio
signal reproduced by the speaker can be set from 0 to max. 200ms, in steps of 10ms. 10ms (Milliseconds) = 0.01seconds.
For this, proceed as follows:
