1) Is the reader unit slide detecting switch (SW1) damaged or dis-

placed?

YES: Correct it. If damaged, replace it.

Connector

2) Is the connection between the connector of the reader unit slide de-

tecting switch (SW1) and the connector J314 on the image proces-
sor PCB normal?

NO:

Correct the connection.
