Paper Requirements
To ensure optimum performance, use only paper that falls within the specifications
in the following lists. Using inappropriate paper may result in deterioration in print
quality or paper jams.
Usable Paper
The following shows the paper sizes that can be used with this printer. The mark
indicates that the paper is available for the 1-sided printing and automatic 2-sided
printing; the
O
mark indicates that the paper is available for only 1-sided printing;
and the
X
mark indicates that the printing cannot be performed.
IMPORTANT
•
When continuously printing the paper of 279.4 mm wide (Letter size) or less, the safety
function that prevents damages caused by heat may slow the print speed down in stages.
(In case of plain paper of A5 or B5 size, the print speed may drop to approx. 8ppm, and in
case of plain paper of B4 or postcard, the print speed may drop to approx. 4 ppm.)

When printing with a resolution of 1200dpi, the print speed drops to approximately half.
