Printer Does Not Start or Stops During Print Jobs

Troubleshooting

Cartridge Holder Does Not Move to the Centre

■

Ensure the printer is securely plugged in.

The cartridge holder will not move unless the power is on.

■

If the front cover has been left open for a while, close and reopen it.

If the front cover is left open for more than 10 minutes, the cartridge holder moves to the
right to prevent the print head from drying out. Close and reopen the front cover to return
the holder to the centre.

■

Cool the print head down for 15 minutes.

The cartridge holder stops moving to protect an overheated print head when it has been
printing continuously for a long time.
