Printer main unit troubleshooting flowchart
(Confirmation of the printer when refurbishing)
Insert the AC adapter
Open the front cover
Install the print head
Close the front cover
Print the "Service Test Print"
* Refer to "4.Service Mode"
regarding printing method.
Replace the print-head and
re-print the "service test print".
Connect the computer
via the USB I/F

At the final step of refurbishment, be sure to initialize EEPROM in accordance with
4. Service Mode <EEPROM RESET>. The purge reminder mark is set by initializing the EEPROM.
Unplug the power cord immediately, and do not print afterwards.
