INSERTING PRINTING PAPER
1) Remove the printer cover and lift up the arm (Figure ).
2) Place printing paper roll on the arm. The edge of the paper should be positioned
as shown (Figure ).
3) Insert the edge of the paper into the slit at the back of the machine (Figure )
and continue inserting the paper between the black and silver printer parts inside
the machine (Figure ). Turn the calculator on.
4) Press the paper feed key [ ] to advance the paper (Figure ).
5) Insert paper through the printer cover while replacing the printer cover.
The following printing paper should be used for the P1-DTSC:
• Standard calculator paper – Width: 57-58mm (2-1/4") /
Max. Diameter: 86mm (3-3/8")
6) If the diameter of the paper roll is less than 27 mm (1-1/16"), you can load the
paper roll as shown (Figure ).
REPLACING BACKUP BATTERY
Memory backup battery retains the currency rate and tax rate setting, even if the
power is off or the AC cord is disconnected.
Battery : 1 Lithium battery (Type : CR2032)
Battery life : Backup time 2000 hours
CAUTION:
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of
used batteries according to the instruction. Dispose of batteries
according to local regulations. Do not dispose as household waste.
After replace the back-up battery, press the [RESET] button, after resetting be sure
to set the currency rate and tax rate again.
CALCULATING WITH DECIMALS
– Used for calculating the cost, selling price and profit margin
amount. Enter the value of any 2 items to obtain the balance
value item. (e.g. enter the value of the cost and the selling price
to obtain the profit margin %.)
BUSINESS SALES CALCULATION
In the following cases, when "E" is displayed, a dotted line is printed. The keyboard
will be electronically locked, and further operation is impossible. Press to clear
the overflow. The overflow occurs when:
1) The result or the memory contents exceeds 12 digits to the left of the decimal
point.
2) Dividing by "0".
3) The sequential operation speed is faster than the calculation processing speed.

1) Lepaskan tutup printer dan angkat lengan (Gambar ).
2) Pasang gulungan kertas cetak di lengan. Tepi kertas harus diletakkan
seperti diperlihatkan (Gambar ).
3) Masukkan tepian kertas ke dalam celah di belakang mesin (Gambar ) dan
terus sisipkan kertas antara bagian hitam dan perak dari printer di dalam
mesin (Gambar ). Hidupkan kalkulator.
4) Tekan tombol paper feed [ ] untuk mengeluarkan kertas (Gambar ).
5) Masukkan kertas melalui tutup printer sambil memasang kembali tutup
printer.
Kertas cetak berikut harus digunakan untuk P1-DTSC:
• Kertas kalkulator standar – Lebar: 57-58mm (2-1/4") / Diameter Maks.:
86mm (3-3/8")
6) Jika diameter gulungan kertas kurang dari 27 mm (1-1/16"), Anda dapat
memasang gulungan kertas seperti diperlihatkan (Gambar ).

• For rates of 1 or greater, you can input up to 6 digits. For rates less than 1 you
can input up to 7 digits, including 0 for the integer digit and leading zeros
(though only six significant digits, counted from the left and starting with the
first non-zero digit, can be specified).

BATERAI CADANGAN
Baterai cadangan memori mempertahankan pengaturan nilai tukar mata uang dan
tarif pajak, meskipun catu daya dimatikan atau kabel AC dilepas.
Baterai: 1 Baterai Litium (Jenis: CR2032)

AWAS:
Risiko meledak jika baterai diganti dengan jenis baterai yang berbeda.
Buang baterai bekas sesuai dengan instruksi. Buang baterai sesuai
dengan peraturan lokal. Jangan membuang baterai sebagai sampah
rumah tangga.
Setelah mengganti baterai cadangan, tekan tombol [RESET], setelah direset
pastikan mengatur kembali nilai tukar mata uang dan tarif pajak.
MENGHITUNG DENGAN DESIMAL
– Digunakan untuk menghitung biaya, harga jual dan jumlah
margin keuntungan. Masukkan nilai dari 2 item untuk
mendapatkan selisih antara kedua nilai tersebut. (Contohnya
masukkan nilai biaya dan harga jual untuk mendapatkan %
margin keuntungan.)
KALKULASI PENJUALAN BISNIS
Pada kasus-kasus berikut, garis titik-titik tercetak jika "E" ditampilkan. Papan ketik
akan terkunci secara elektronik, dan operasi tidak mungkin dapat dilakukan lagi.
Tekan untuk menghapus overflow. Overflow terjadi apabila:
1) Hasil atau isi memori melebihi 12 digit ke sebelah kiri dari titik desimal.
2) Membagi dengan “0”.
3) Kecepatan operasi berurutan adalah lebih cepat daripada kecepatan
pengolahan kalkulasi.

Remove the insulation tape at the back of calculator and
press [RESET] key before use.
Decimal Point Selector Key –
Used for designating the decimal
point position (0, 2, 3, 4, A) for calculated results.
A (Add-Mode) –
Addition and subtraction functions are performed
with an automatic 2-digit decimal. This is convenient for currency
calculations.
Floating Decimal point –
All effective numbers up to 12 digits are
printed or displayed. (NO ICON)
Rounding Key –
Used for rounding final multiplication or division
results to a pre-selected number of decimals. The round-off function
is available when the "5/4" mark appears on display.
Store the Tax Rate –
Press , and hold for 1 second, then
enter the tax value and press to store the rate. The entered tax
rate remains stored even when the calculator is turned off.
Recall the Tax Rate –
Press , and hold for 1 second, then
press to recall the current tax rate.
Add Tax Key –
Used for adding the tax amount to the displayed
figure.
Deduct Tax Key –
Used for deducting the tax amount from the
displayed figure.
LOADING
1) Remove the cover of the battery chamber at the bottom of the calculator by
sliding it in the direction of the arrow.
2) Insert four new batteries (size AA) into the battery chamber as illustrated. Insert
the (–) end first.
3) Replace the cover. The calculator will not operate if batteries are loaded
incorrectly.
REPLACEMENT
• Low battery power may cause printing problems or random paper advances. It
can also disable the key.
• If the display is dim or the printing speed decreases or the " " icon appears,
the batteries may be discharged. Replace batteries to resume normal operations.
• Remove the battery if you do not plan to use the unit for a long period of time.
CANON AC ADAPTER AD-11 (for Asia) / AD-35 (for Australia) (Optional)
1) Use only the Canon AC Adapter AD-11 (for Asia) / AD-35 (for Australia).
2) Turn the calculator off before connecting or disconnecting the AC Adapter.
• In case of malfunctions, e.g. not working or non-stop printing, remove the AC
adapter and batteries for about 1 minute to reset the calculator.
1) Remove the printer cover by pressing down on the mark. (Figure )
2) Lift up the old ink roller and remove it. (Figure )
3) Insert the new ink roller by pressing it gently into position. (Figure ) (Use
Canon Ink Roller CP-16.)
4) Replace the printer cover. (Figure )

Lepaskan pita isolasi di belakang kalkulator dan tekan
tombol [RESET] sebelum digunakan.
MEMASANG
1) Lepaskan tutup ruang baterai di bagian bawah kalkulator dengan
menggesernya pada arah panah.
2) Masukkan empat baterai baru (ukuran AA) ke dalam ruang baterai seperti
dalam gambar. Masukkan ujung (–) terlebih dahulu.
3) Pasang kembali tutup. Kalkulator tidak akan bekerja jika salah memasang
baterai.
PENGGANTIAN
• Daya baterai yang rendah dapat menyebabkan masalah pencetakan atau
mengeluarkan kertas secara acak. Di samping itu juga dapat
menyebabkan tombol tidak berfungsi.
• Jika tampilan redup atau kecepatan pencetakan berkurang atau muncul
ikon " ", daya baterai mungkin sudah habis. Ganti baterai untuk
memulai operasi yang normal.
• Lepaskan baterai jika Anda tidak berencana menggunakan kalkulator
untuk jangka waktu yang panjang.
Canon AC Adapter AD-11 (untuk Asia) / AD-35 (untuk Australia) (Opsional)
1) Gunakan hanya Canon AC Adapter AD-11 (untuk Asia) / AD-35 (untuk
Australia).
2) Matikan kalkulator sebelum menyambung atau melepas sambungan ke
AC Adapter.
• Apabila ada gangguan, contohnya pencetakan tidak bekerja atau tidak
berhenti mencetak, lepaskan AC adapter dan baterai selama lebih kurang
1 menit untuk mereset kalkulator.
1) Lepaskan tutup printer dengan menekan tanda . (Gambar )
2) Angkat penggulung tinta lama dan keluarkan. (Gambar )
3) Masukkan penggulung tinta yang baru dengan cara ditekan dengan lembut
ke tempatnya. (Gambar ) (Gunakan Penggulung Tinta CP-16 dari
Canon.)
4) Pasang kembali tutup printer. (Gambar )

Tombol Decimal Point Selector –

Fungsi pembulatan tersedia jika tanda "5/4" muncul pada tampilan.
Menyimpan Tarif Pajak –
Tekan , dan tahan selama 1
detik, kemudian masukkan nilai pajak dan tekan untuk
menyimpan tarif pajak. Tarif pajak yang dimasukkan tetap
tersimpan meskipun kalkulator dimatikan.
Memanggil Kembali Tarif Pajak –
Tekan , dan tahan
selama 1 detik, kemudian tekan untuk memanggil kembali tarif
pajak saat ini.
Tombol Add Tax –
Digunakan untuk menambahkan jumlah pajak
pada angka yang ditampilkan.
Tombol Deduct Tax –
Digunakan untuk memotong jumlah pajak
pada angka yang ditampilkan.
