Problems using a memory card

See the information below if the memory card is not recognized when inserted into the
card slot, or the image data is not being read.

Memory card is not recognized.

Is the memory card securely inserted into the card slot?

When securely inserted, a PCMCIA-compatible memory card
will click into position and protrude a maximum of 0.3 inches (7
mm) from the slot.

The memory card is not recognized although it is inserted securely

into the card slot.

Remove and reinsert the memory card as explained on

Basic

Guide

Are there any images on the memory card?

Check if there is any image data on the memory card using your
digital camera or computer.

Is the image data valid?
