6. Under Image Optimiser, click the check mark button to turn on an
option that enhances the printing of bitmapped images. The Image
Optimiser smoothes any jagged areas that appear in low-resolution
bitmaps. However, the Image Optimiser may also smooth any
images that include sharp corners. If you use this option, the
processing time for printing increases.
Not all applications support the Image Optimiser. If your
application does not support this feature, this option is ignored.
7. Under Print Model, click one of the following:
Automatic
To have the printer automatically select the appropriate settings
for the highest quality output
Graphics and Text
To print a document with graphics and text, maintaining
exceptionally crisp edges and lines
Photo
To print scanned photographs or bitmapped images
Custom
To choose advanced settings.
8. If you selected Custom as your print model, click Option. For detailed
instructions, refer to the next section.
