This Machine

CF-PL Reference Guide_USEN HT1-2187-000-V.1.0

IMPORTANT

Save the protective bag and all other shipping material. You will need this material
later when you dispose of the cartridge after it has run out of toner. (See “Changing
the Toner Cartridge,” on p. 6-3.)

While holding the cartridge by the ends, rock it gently five or
six times to distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge.

\

Place the cartridge on a stable, flat, clean surface, and snap
the tab on the side to detach it from the cartridge.

\

5

As you steady the cartridge with one hand, remove the tape by
gently pulling the plastic tab straight out with your other hand.

Use a firm, even pull to avoid breaking the tape.
