13. Media Usage/Compatibility
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7500 and C7500 II Series maintain reliable,
predictable, and high-quality output. Consistency of the output is dependent on
knowing and compensating for variables of a print job. The imageRUNNER
ADVANCE C7500 and C7500 II Series incorporate many control systems, which
compensate for environmental and print process conditions. Another variable is the
print media. Knowing the characteristics of the media guarantees optimal print
output.
13.1 Media Characteristics by Media Library Parameters
The system administrator must be in the Management mode to edit the media
characteristics.

Select the dimensions of the paper.

Select the weight of the paper in g/m

Select the finish of the paper (e.g., Uncoated or Coated).

Color
Select the color of the paper.
2nd Side of 2-Sided Page
Select ‘On’ or ‘Off’ to adjust the second side of a 2-sided
page.
Adjust Image Position
Specify how to adjust the position of the image on the paper.
Adjust Creep Correction
Specify the correction adjustment.
Curl Correction Level
Specify the curl correction level
Adjust Fan for Paper
Conveyance
Adjust the paper conveyance fan level if paper jams occur
frequently or the output paper is creased.
Adjust Gloss
Specify the correction adjustment.
Adjust Lean/Tail Margins
Specify the lead edge and tail end margins to correct image
quality or paper feeding issues.
Adjust Temp. to Prevent
Wrinkles
Specify the wrinkle correction level to correct wrinkled or
worn and thin paper.
Adj. Secondary Transfer Voltage
Specify the correction adjustment.
Toner Amount Reduction Mode
Select ‘On’ or ‘Off’ to reduce the amount of toner used.
Embossing Depth
Specify the depth of embossing, selecting Deep for textured
paper with significantly uneven surfaces.
