12.2 Mixed Paper Weight Job Productivity 

 
The  imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7500 and C7500 II  Series  are  capable of 
processing jobs that contain paper with different paper weights. However, during 
the processing of jobs with mixed paper weights, the machine adjusts its fixing 
temperature, which results in a printing delay. 
 

12.3 Paper and Toner Replacement 

 
The  imageRUNNER ADVANCE  operator can maintain productivity by removing, 
replacing, and refilling the paper while the machine is running. 
 
The paper trays can also be opened  and refilled during operation; however, the 
tray that is being used  by the machine  during production is  locked. Once the job 
completes, or the machine switches to another tray, the empty tray unlocks, 
enabling  the operator to prepare for the next job, and add more paper. No 
productivity is affected and jobs finish faster. 
 
When toner starts to run low or has run out, the machine prompts the user to 
change the toner bottle. Prepare or replace the bottle  according to the displayed 
message. If one of the color toner bottles runs out, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 
C7500 and C7500 II  Series can continue to print in black-and-white as long as 
black toner is available. However, the print quality may be reduced.
