Adjusting Monochrome Printing 

Use the Grayscale setting to print monochrome images of color photographs captured 

with a scanner or digital camera. 

1 

Open the Print dialog box from the software application.

 

2  Display the Main panel. 

3  Under Color Mode, select Monochrome, and then click the Set button to open the 

Color Settinsgs dialog box. 

4  Drag the Brightness slider left or right to increase or decrease the degree of 

lightness. 

5  Drag the Contrast slider left or right to adjust contrast. 

6  Click the OK button to close the dialog box. 

7  Click the Print button, and printing starts with the selected settings. 

Note 

If you change settings in items on a sheet, the upper Preview image data changes. 

Original indicates the initial settings while Preview reflects the current settings.
