Advanced smoothing
Select whether to smooth the edges of text, curved line art, and ornamental characters. Adjusts text objects by
making them thicker in a vertical direction. Select

Horizontal text width adjustment
Adjusts text objects by making them thicker in a horizontal direction. Select
Level 1
to thicken the width of text

Note:
The horizontal or vertical direction is determined by the direction of paper output. The main scanning
direction is horizontal. For long edge feed, the long side is recognized as horizontal, and the short side is recognized
as vertical. For short edge feed, the long side is recognized as vertical and the short side is recognized as horizontal.
Gradation smoothing

Image compression optimization
Select

to achieve a good balance between image quality and compression. The imagePRESS Server uses extremely
efficient lossless compression to ensure that pages are delivered to the printer fast enough to prevent cycling.
When on, images are divided into multiple blocks. The printer then selects an appropriate compression method for
each block and applies it to the block.
