IV. System Features and Options

The functionality of the imagePRESS C800/C700 Series can be expanded by
installing the following system related optional accessories and software.

A.

Print Controller Options

1. imagePRESS Printer Kit-B1

•

An embedded print controller for the imagePRESS C800/C700
Series machines

•

Designed for operations that use a printer driver workflow and do not
require job or queue management tools

•

Supports UFR II, Adobe Genuine PostScript 3, PCL 5e/6

•

Comes standard-equipped with the upright control panel.

•

Optional Encrypted Secure Print Software and Barcode Printing Kit-
D1 is available.

2. Barcode Printing Kit-D1

•

Enables the user to generate barcodes

•

Support more than 50 barcode formats, as well as the EURO symbol,
safety symbols, electronic, and manufacturing symbols.

•

Requires the imagePRESS Printer Kit-B1 installed

•

Cannot be used with the imagePRESS Server or PRISMAsync
Controller.

3. imagePRESS Server F200

•

An external print controller for the imagePRESS C800/C700 Series
machines, and supports Adobe Genuine PostScript 3, Adobe PDF
Print Engine, and Fiery JDF.

•

Suited for graphic-intensive environments requiring production,
business (Print MIS) work flow integration via JDF, and variable data
jobs.

•

Comes standard-equipped with the upright control panel, Command
Workstation software, Fiery Spot-On, Auto Trapping, Image Enhance
Visual Editor, GUI Enabled, Fiery Hot Folders and Visual Printers.

4. imagePRESS Server G100

•

An embedded print controller that attaches to the back of the
imagePRESS C800/C700 Series machines, and supports Adobe
Genuine PostScript 3 and PCL5c/6 printer languages.

•

Suited for office environments in which larger print volumes are
frequently processed.

•

Comes standard-equipped with the upright control panel, Command
Workstation software, Fiery Spot-On, Auto Trapping Fiery Hot
Folders and Visual Printers.
