DIMMs
The imagePASS includes two 1GB DIMMs (dual in-line memory modules). A DIMM is
held in place by levers at each end of its socket on the motherboard. Approved DIMMs are
available from your authorized service support center.

O REMOVE A
DIMM
When you handle electronic components, follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions
(see
page 10 ).
1 Remove the imagePASS from the copier (see page 14 ).
As part of this step, you must disconnect the power cable. Do not proceed until you have
done so.
2 Open the imagePASS (see page 15 ).
3 To release a DIMM, push outward on the lever on each side of the DIMM (see Figure 9 )

4 To avoid damaging the DIMM or the socket, slide the DIMM straight out of the socket, and
then set the DIMM aside.
