< Point > Move the scanner stay in the direction of the red arrow to fit to the position for removing the scanner 

stay, and remove the stay.

 

4)  Remove the right and left bosses, then detach the scanner unit.

  Removing the CIS Unit 

1)  Reverse the scanner unit and remove the six screws.
