1.2.1 Checking external connections

Before removing the side and front panel of the iR-M2 to check internal components, first

eliminate the most obvious sources of problems. Make sure that:

• All interface cables to the system are plugged into the proper connectors on the back

panel of the iR-M2 (see F05-102-01).

• The power cable is plugged into the wall power outlet.
• The power switch on the back panel of the iR-M2 is in the on position.
• The LED on the network connector is blinking to indicate network activity.
