Chapter 13

Printing Problems

■

The machine beeps while printing.

The machine may have a paper jam.
• Clear the paper jam (

p. 13-3).

■

Nothing prints.

The power cord may not be plugged in securely.
• Check that the power cord is plugged securely into the machine and into the wall

outlet (

p. 2-9). If the machine is plugged into a power strip, make sure the power

strip is plugged in and turned on.

You may not have removed the plastic seal from the cartridge.
• Make sure you install the cartridge properly (

The cartridge may need to be replaced.
• Replace the cartridge (

Printout does not match the print media size.

The print media may not be loaded correctly.
