There may be cases that you cannot
receive Emails from CANON iMAGE
GATEWAY when your Email is set not to
accept Emails from certain domains, etc.
Refer to the Help in CANON iMAGE
GATEWAY site (http://www.canon.com/
cig) for the details of Email settings.
Make sure the power to the printer, access
point, router, etc. is on.
Make sure there is no error displayed on
the printer.
Make sure the printer is connected to the
same access point or router as Connect
Station.
Check if a CF card or SDXC card is
inserted (p.33).
Slide the SDXC card’s write-protect switch
to the Write/Erase position.
Check the remaining capacity of the card.
Connect an external hard disk with a
capacity of 1 TB or more, then turn on the
hard disk’s power.
When you restore data, images that are
not backed up are deleted.
The firmware is being updated (p.59). The
lamps stop blinking when the update is
complete.
Do as instructed in the error message.
If you are unsure how to handle the
problem, write down the error message,
and contact the nearest Canon Service
Center.
Under the [
Preferences:
e
] tab, select
[
Update firmware
] to update the firmware
again (p.59). If error message remains
after updating the firmware again, contact
the nearest Canon Service Center.
Transferring Images
You don’t receive the Email from
CANON iMAGE GATEWAY when
newly signing up as a member.
Printing
Images cannot be printed.
Copying Images to a Card
Images cannot be copied to a card.
Backup and Restoring
Data cannot be backed up.
Images are gone after
I restore data.
Blinking of Lamps
All the lamps are blinking.
Error Messages
An error related to Connect Station
appears on the TV screen.
An error message appears
during firmware update.
