1. Installing the Software
The Film Scanner should include the ScanCraft FS driver software for Windows 95 users. Once you have con-
nected the Film Scanner to your computer or SCSI daisy chain, turn on the power switches of your computer and
the Film Scanner. Then install the ScanCraft FS software once you have correctly set up the connection with the
SCSI host adapter card as described in
. This program supports the TWAIN standard.
SUGGESTION:
• Please refer to the Users Guide accompanying ScanCraft FS for detailed instructions on how to install
the driver software.
• ScanCraft FS may be used independently of other programs or opened from within application pro-
grams that support the TWAIN standard.
• The ScanCraft FS Users Guide can be read with the Adobe Acrobat Reader, a version of which is
supplied on the CD-ROM disk shipped with your CanoScan 2700F package.
• To see installation instructions for Adobe Acrobat Reader, open the [Readme] file on the CD-ROM.
• To read the Users Guide, look on the CD-ROM for the [Manual] folder, and double-click on the
[Scancrft.pdf] file to open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
