Printer Does Not Start or Stops During Print Jobs

Troubleshooting

Cartridge Holder Does Not Move

■

Ensure the printer is turned on.

The cartridge holder will not move unless the power is on. Check to see if the printer is 
plugged into the power supply securely. If not, close the front cover, and then plug the 
printer to the power supply.

■

If the front cover has been left open for a while, close and reopen it.

If the front cover is left open for more than 10 minutes, the printhead holder moves to the 
right to prevent the printhead from drying out. Close and reopen the front cover to return 
the holder.
