Various Shooting Methods

Functions Available in Each Shooting Mode

(p. 206).

Cannot be set in

mode.

You can set whether or not the red-eye reduction

lamp automatically

fires with the flash.

This function reduces the red appearance of eyes when they reflect light back

from the flash.

The interval between shots lengthens when the built-in
memory of the camera fills.

If the flash is used, the interval between shots lengthens
because the flash must charge.

Setting the Red-Eye Reduction Function

Shooting Mode

Select [Red-Eye].

Press the

button.

In the [

] menu, use the

button to select [Red-Eye].

Accept the setting.

Use the or button to select
[On] or [Off].
