should be your starting point. Turn the adjuster
counterclockwise and listen for the clicks that
identify setting positions “1”, “2”, etc.

Turning the adjusters counterclockwise (more
clicks out) will give less damping force.
•
Normally, the adjusters should not be adjusted
more than two clicks at a time and not outside the
maximum click range.
•
When you think you have made an improvement,
go back to what you started with and double check
to be sure an improvement was made. Also, pay
attention to changes in conditions (e.g., tires, air
temperature).
•
In general, compression damping changes should
be used to influence the vehicle's stability and
response, while rebound damping changes should
be used to influence comfort and traction.
•
When you need more damping force, you should
mainly try to increase compression damping and
use as little rebound damping as possible. This
will result in a gain in comfort and handling
performance.
Rear shock spring pre-load
To adjust, loosen the lockring and turn the adjuster ring
clockwise to increase the preload or counterclockwise to
reduce the preload. Tighten the lock ring securely when
finished.
