8:0. SOUNDER TESTS
It is advisable to check that the sounders are working correctly every week.
To do this go to the panel or remote keypad and enter a user code, then
press

. Each of the tests lasts for 5 seconds. All the lights on the
control panel illuminate. Then the lights go out, and the internal siren
activates (proceed outside where the external sounder is fitted). The external
sounder triggers. Then the external strobe flashes (if fitted and enabled), and
then the panel clears down. The test is now complete.

9:0. WALK TESTING
It is advisable to check that the detection devices are communicating with
the panel. You should perform this kind of testing every 3 months. To do this
go to the panel or remote keypad and enter user code

. The internal sounder gives a single pitched sound. When any
detector is triggered or contact opened, the internal sounder gives a loud
pulse, and the zone light illuminates. Clear the detector or close the contact,
and the sound reverts back to the single pitched sound. Proceed to the next
detector or contact until you have completed all the zones. When you are
satisfied with the walk testing, press

to exit the walk test mode.

10:0. CHIME
This control panel offers the ability to have chime on a zone when the panel
is unset. This feature emits a chime tone through the speaker whenever a
zone is activated. To achieve this, press the
*
key and the number key that
represents the zone(s) you want on chime. The light for the zone illuminates.
Press
*
to accept the zones on chime. To remove a zone on chime, press
the
*
key, and the zones that are currently active light up. Press the key that
represents the zone and the light goes out. The chime is now disabled on
that zone. Press
*
key to finish.
This feature is only active when enabled
by your installer.
