Thank you for choosing a Campingaz® product!
These operation instructions are common to all

200 SGR

units concerning their accessories and operation.

A - IMPORTANT: ALWAYS BE CAREFUL

WHEN USING GAS !

• This operation manual will help you use your

Campingaz® unit properly and in complete safety.

• Consult the manual to familiarise yourself with the

appliance prior to assembling the gas cylinder.

• Abide by the instructions given in this manual.

Failure to do so may be dangerous for the user and

anyone else close by.

• Always keep this manual in a safe place, readily

available for reference if necessary.

• This unit is manufactured to use either butane or

propane, with a suitable regulator and a hose or

flexible hose, which are sold separately.

• This device must be used outside only and away

from flammable materials.

• Do not use appliance which leaks, is damaged or

functions incorrectly. Instead, return it to your

retailer who will inform you of your nearest after-

sales service.

• Never modify this appliance or use it for purposes for

which it is not intended.

• Parts which are protected by the manufacturer

or the manufacturer’s representative must not be

manipulated by the user.

• All appliances running on gas consume oxygen and

emit other potentially dangerous substances and

gases such as carbon monoxide (CO).

• Carbon monoxide is an odorless, clear gas that

can cause flu-like symptoms, sickness, illness, and

possibly death if emitted in aforesaid enclosed

areas through use of the appliance without proper

ventilation

.

B - ASSEMBLY OF THE APPLIANCE

Remove the appliance from its packaging (Fig. 2).
Unlock latch by following step sequence A, B, C, then open

the lid (Fig. 1).  Remove components within & at the bottom

of the appliance.

(1) Grate

(5) Burner

(2) Spit assembly  (6) Spit motor (sold separately)

(3) Grease tray

(7) Hose (sold separately)

(4) Legs

1.  Flip the appliance upside down. Screw legs into the

sockets at the bottom of the appliance (Fig. 3).

2.  Stand the appliance in upright position on level ground

(Fig. 4). In case that the appliance is placed on unlevel

ground, adjust the length of leg “4-i” by rotating the end

cap of the leg.

3.  Flip the walls outward (Fig. 4) and hook the locking tabs

onto slits on lid (Fig. 5).

4.  Place the burner on top of the walls (Fig. 6). Make sure

that the left & right edges of the burner are inserted in-

between the wall and the supporting tabs.

5.  Mount the spit motor (sold separately) onto the

left wall (Fig. 7): Insert the extruded hanging stud

on motor into the one of the 3 hanging holes on

wall, then slide down to lock motor in position.

NOTE:

Motor hanging holes are in the shape of a

“comma”, which is different with shape of spit hanging

holes (oval). Hanging holes are at different height for

adjusting the distance between the spit & the burner.

6.  Assemble the spit & forks (Fig. 8). Screw spit handle

onto the threaded end of spit (A). Insert the forks

into the spit (B), adjust location of the forks (C)

then secure the forks’ locations by driving wing

screws into the holes on forks (D).

NOTE:

You may change direction of forks (both facing

outwards / one outward & one inward etc.).

7.  Place the assembled spit into chamber (Fig. 9). Insert

pointed end of spit into one of the hanging holes on the

left wall (A), making sure that the spit is inserted into

the spit hole on motor which is mounted on wall in step

5. Then swing-in the handle of the spit and rest it on

one of the notches on the right wall (B), which should

be at the same height of the hanging hole that the spit

is inserted into.

8.  Insert grease tray into chamber (Fig. 10). Make

sure that the grease tray rests on one of the

pairs of supporting rails on side walls.

NOTE:

Do not use the appliance without the grease

tray installed. Do not place the grease tray at a position

that may interferes the operation of the spit. Place

the grease tray close to food so as to keep the heat

reflection performance.

9.  When using grate for grilling purposes, assemble the

grate with grease tray (Fig. 12). The grease tray will

serve as a reflection board to keep heating efficiency. To

assemble (Fig. 12), insert tabs on grease tray into holes

on the edge of the grate (A), push grate against the tabs

on grease tray (B) and clip the other end of the grate

into clocking clamps on grease tray (C). Flip handles

outward (D), and snap handles into clocking clamps.

10. Insert the assembled grate into chamber (Fig. 13). Do

not place the assembly at a position that may interferes

the operation of the spit; or ideally, do not use both

grate & spit for grilling purposes in the chamber.
