1. TOOLS
All frame assembly, adjustment and maintenance operations for the rear derailleur can be
performed with the following wrenches (not included in the package).
2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. Capacity of the rear derailleur
: this is necessary information for calculating whether the rear
derailleur will function correctly with the chain crossings between the chainrings and the sprockets.
Use the following calculation formula:
Capacity = (A - B) + (C - D)
, where
(A)
is the number of teeth of the largest chainring of the crankset;
(B)
is the number of teeth of the smallest chainring of the crankset;
(C)
is the number of teeth of the
largest sprocket;
(D)
is the number of teeth of the smallest sprocket.
2. Maximum front difference
: the maximum front difference between the teeth of the smallest and
largest chainring in the crankset that a rear derailleur can accept.
