Channel Width: Select the Channel Width:
Auto 20/40 - This is the default setting. Select if you are using both 802.11n
and non-802.11n wireless devices.
20MHz - Select if you are not using any 802.11n wireless clients.
SSID Broadcast: While SSID Broadcast is enabled, all wireless clients will be able
to view the WLAN Router’s SSID. For security purposes, users may want to
disable SSID Broadcast to ensure only authorized clients have access.
Security
This function enables user to set authentication type for secure wireless
communications. Open System allows public access to the router via wireless
communications. Shared Key requires the user to set a WEP key to exchange data
with other wireless clients that have the same WEP key. This router also supports
WPA, WPA2 and WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK.
Authentication Type: The authentication type default is set to open system.
There are four options: Disabled, WEP, WPA, WPA2 and WPA-Auto.
