General Precautions
Important people-safety instructions: READ CAREFULLY!

Installing, programming, commissioning and mainte-
nance must only be done by qualified, expert staff and in
full compliance with the applicable law.

Wear antistatic protective clothing when working on the
control board.
•
Keep these precautions.

Always cut off the mains power when doing cleaning and
maintenance jobs.

This product must only be used for its specifically intend-
ed purpose. Any other use is dangerous.
•
The manufacturer declines all liability for any damage as
a result of improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
There is danger of the battery exploding if it is replaced
with the wrong type.
•
Once the batteries are flat, dispose of in accordance with
the law.
Description
The PXWIRCE is passive infrared curtain-effect detector
for outdoors with a pivoting (up to 190°) brace and anti-
masking function plus tear-proof tamper.
The device is fitted with two IR sensors that work on
AND logic, that is, the alarm is triggered only when both
sensors detect and intrusion.

The sensor's battery life duration is inversely proportional
to the number or detections it is subjected to (regardless
of whether the alarm system is armed or not).
If the sensor is installed in high frequency transit zones,
the battery life may be drastically shortened.

DIP-switch descriptions
DEFAULT
DIP1 Walk test
ON
The LED stays on in case of detection, regardless
of the DIP-switch 4 settings.
The DIP-switch 2 setting is irrelevant.
OFF
The LED turns on if there is a detection, only if it
is enabled, that is, depending on the DIP-switch
4 settings.
The minimum interval between subsequent de-
tections depends on the DIP-switch 2 setting.
