5.5. Scalability
If you wish to synchronise more devices, multiple U16S can be connected together (either in a
star topology or daisy chained) to allow up to 96 devices to be managed from a single host
computer simultaneously
In order to daisy-chain multiple U16S, each U16S needs to be connected to mains power
individually and the first U16S in the chain should be connected to the local computer through
the "host port". The host port of the next board in the daisy-chain is then connected to any of
the first U16S downstream USB ports. More boards are added in the same way.
Using this daisy-chain approach, a maximum of three additional boards can be linked, allowing
a total of 96 devices to be sync'd from a single host computer.
