Procedures in the event of faults
The device is maintenance-free. However, if any faults do occur, please
proceed as follows.
Fault
Action
The battery is not
being charged.
Check all connections from the power supply to the
battery. Pay attention to the correct polarity. Remove the
mains plug from the device and plug it back in. Check the
fuses and the mains connection.
The voltage of the
battery has
dropped below
1.5 volt.
Start the motor and let it run for approx. 30 seconds.
Battery voltage rises above 1.5 volt. The charging process
starts automatically.
The battery II is
not charged during
driving operation.
Check the fuses.
The maximum
charging current is
not reached.
The device overheats. Ensure better ventilation of the
device.
None of the faults
described here
seems to apply.
But the device still
does not work.
