The nominal capacity of the supply battery must be set up once during
commissioning of the battery controller. The voltage display mask is called up
for 5 seconds by pressing button (2) with the function display "battery capacity
setting" (34). Set the supply battery capacity value (38) by pressing the buttons
(3, 4) of the „ + and – „(35, 36) function display buttons. Use the capacity
value for a 20 hour discharge (K20) to do so. This value is printed on your
battery. The maximum capacity setting value is 999 Ah. Pressing the button (5)
of the „battery capacity setting“ (37) button function display ends the setting.
It is necessary to charge the battery fully after having set the battery capacity in
order to have the correct display of the available battery capacity (38). During
charging, the charge level of the battery controller is recognised automatically
and the battery capacity display is set to 100%.
Temperature inquiry
The temperature display mask is called up for 10 seconds by pressing the
button (5) with the function display "Temperature Inquiry" (12).
