Serial
Port:
When
enabled,
the
external
serial
port
PAD
function
can
be
used.
When
disabled,
no
PAD
function
is
available,
and
the
port
is
left
free,
for
use
by
an
ODP
application.
Show
Version
on
Boot:
When
enabled,
the
router
model
number
and
firmware
version
are
transmitted
out
the
serial
port
at
router
boot.
Additionally,
"OK"
is
transmitted
when
router
is
ready
to
receive
data
and
when
PPP
connection
is
made.
When
disabled,
these
indicators
will
not
be
transmitted
out
the
serial
port.
Baud
Rate:
Sets
the
baud
rate
of
the
serial
port.
Settings
may
range
from
300
to
115,200
bits
per
second.
The
default
baud
rate
is
115,200
bps.
Inter
Character
Timeout:
Enter
a
value
from
1
to
65,535
to
set
the
interval
between
packets
being
sent.
DTR:
Select
to
define
the
Data
Terminal
Ready
behavior.
