Caution
Damage caused by improper
maintenance can lead to costly
repairs and may not be covered by
the vehicle warranty. Maintenance
intervals, checks, inspections,
recommended fluids, and lubricants
are important to keep the vehicle in
good working condition.
Do not have chemical flushes that
are not approved by GM performed
on the vehicle. The use of flushes,
solvents, cleaners, or lubricants that
are not approved by GM could
damage the vehicle, requiring
expensive repairs that are not
covered by the vehicle warranty.
It is essential that your vehicle
receives the maintenance outlined on
the following pages to retain the
safety, reliability and performance
originally built into your vehicle.
When your odometer reaches the
mileage indicated on the following
pages, or the corresponding time
interval has been reached, take your
vehicle, preferably to an authorised
dealer and/or repairer, who will
provide the proper parts and service.
Once maintenance has been
performed, have the authorised dealer
and/or repairer fill out and stamp the
appropriate box in this booklet to
serve as your maintenance record
which may be needed for warranty
repairs. It will also show future
owners how well your vehicle has
been maintained.
