2018 FX, 2018 Contra and 2018 Radar offer 2
settings for depower travel and turning impulse.
This is dependent on the attachment position of
the rear bridle line and pulley.
Setting A
The setting provides the lightest turning impulse
and also increased depower travel. This setting
uses the A towpoint on the wingtip.
Setting B
Moving the rear line bridle and to the B setting
increases the turning impulse and shortens the
depower travel. This setting uses the B towpoints
on the wingtip.
APOLLO TUNING
The Apollo Kite offers 3 settings for bar pressure
and turning impulse. This is dependent on the at-
tachment position of the rear line bridle.
Setting A (Factory Setting)
The factory setting provides the lightest bar
pressure and turning impulse. This setting uses
both of the “A” towpoints on the wingtip.
Setting B
Moving the rear bridle to the “B” setting
increases the bar pressure and turning impulse.
It will also shorten the reach required to depower
the kite. This setting uses the “B” towpoints on
the wingtip.
Setting C
Moving the rear bridle to the “C” setting gives you
the highest amount of bar pressure and turning
impulse with the shortest depower travel. This
setting uses the “C” towpoints on the wingtip.
