3.2.3 ISDN Menu
The ISDN sub-menu has a total of six entries A-F, of which A-C are only
applicable in T1 mode with the SBUPRI-23. Several sub-menus are
applicable only for either E1 or T1.
The L1 Pulsemask menu is exclusive to T1 and provides eight selections
for line length. The options control the equaliser adjusting the pulse size
and optimising pulse shape to compensate for losses due to line
characteristics and length.
If the SBUPRI-23 is connected directly to the network termination point
then option A) T1 DS1 should be used. However if the network
termination point is not adjacent to the SBUPRI-23 then an appropriate
option in the range B) to H) should be chosen from this menu according
to the line length to the termination point.
