EDID Control Table
The Splitter has 16 positions to select EDID on rear panel. Refer to the appendix EDID description.
Initial Set-up
Connect the HD source such as Blu-Ray Player, Play Station 3, audio/video receiver,
or satellite boxes and computers equipped with HDMI output interfaces with a short high-speed HDMI
cable to the HDMI Transmitter input.
Connect the HDMI transmitter output RJ-45 port using single Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP cable to the HDMI
receiver RJ-45 input port. It is strongly recommended that factory terminated cable assemblies be
used and their length should not exceed 164 ft.
Use a short high-speed HDMI cable, length not exceeding 16 ft.
The source can be controlled from the display's location. This is accomplished by using the IR
Receiver cable pointing away from the display, which can be connected to the receiver portion of the
extender. The IR Transmitter cable is then connected to the Transmitter of the extender and pointed
at the source.
