Do not use other ultrasonic device with a frequency of 40KHz when the vision system is in
operation.
●
Since the ultrasonic altitude hold will emit ultrasonic waves that human ears cannot perceive,
the ultrasonic waves may cause the animals to be uneasy, please stay away from the animals
when using.
9. Obstacle avoidance
The obstacle avoidance module is separately packaged and stored during transportation. It is
required to install the obstacle avoidance module on the aircraft during using. Please refer to
the instructions on P43 for specific installation methods.
Note :
●
Before removing or installing the obstacle avoidance module, be sure to turn off the power
of the aircraft. When the aircraft is powered on, disassembly and assembly of the obstacle
avoidance module may lead to avoidance function is abnormal.
●
After the aircraft is started, do not touch the obstacle avoidance module! Touching the
obstacle avoidance module in operation may damage the equipment and cause abnormal
function.
●
The obstacle avoidance module does not support obstacle avoidance at the bottom and top
of the aircraft. When the aircraft upwards and downwards, it needs to pay close attention to
the surrounding environment.
●
Do not block or interfere with the obstacle avoidance module in any way, and ensure that
the lens of the obstacle avoidance module is clean and free of stains, film stickers and other
obstructions. on the surface must be removed, If there are water drops, fingerprints, dirt, etc.,
please wipe them with a clean cloth first.
●
Long time direct viewing of the obstacle avoidance module launcher may cause eye
discomfort. Avoid long-time direct viewing of the obstacle avoidance module launcher and
aiming the obstacle avoidance module at others.
●
The obstacle avoidance module can not recognize obstacles under certain special conditions
(such as small branches, wires, etc., mirror reflected obstacle surface,there is a risk of
obstacle avoidance failure. Therefore, it is necessary to fly carefully, pay close attention to the
environment and control the aircraft in time.
1) Enable obstacle avoidance function
When the following three conditions are met at the same time, the aircraft will automatically
enable the obstacle avoidance function:

Outdoor flight;
●
Install the obstacle avoidance module before starting the aircraft;
●
In the app obstacle avoidance setting menu, enable "flight obstacle avoidance function" (refer
to the description on P68 );
●
During flight, turn off the motion mode (refer to the instructions on P59 , and turn the switch
on the RC to the SPORT OFF).
2) Disenable obstacle avoidance function
When any of the following conditions is met, the aircraft will automatically close the obstacle
avoidance function:
●
Indoor Flight;
●
During flight, enable the sport mode (refer to the description on P59 , and pull the switch on
the RC to the SPORT ON position);
●
In the app obstacle avoidance setting menu, turn off the 'flight obstacle avoidance function'
(refer to the description on P68 );
●
Un-install the obstacle avoidance module before starting the aircraft.
3) Working principle of obstacle avoidance
When the aircraft fly in a certain direction, the obstacle avoidance module will rotate and
align with the flight direction to send a pulse signal. When the signal meets obstacles within
the scanning range, it will reflect. After receiving the reflected signal, the obstacle avoidance
module will calculate the distance between the aircraft and the obstacles through calculation
and send it to the flight control system of the aircraft. The flight control system will control
the aircraft to stop moving at an appropriate distance, so as to achieve the effect of obstacle
avoidance.
