Step 23: 

Prepare the bottom row of input jacks. Connect a 1M 1/2Watt resistor between the tip and sleeve 

terminals of each jack, threading the extra lead through the sleeve terminal to the tip disconnect terminal as shown. 

Connect a 4” piece of black wire to each sleeve terminal. Solder the sleeve terminal only. They should look like the 

picture above.
