that something is wrong with the
engine's EFI (electrical fuel injection)
system. Please contact the BYD
service shops for inspection/as soon
as possible.
Parking Brake System
Indicator Light
When the start button is at gear ON,
the indicator light will come on in the
following cases:
1) When the brake fluid level is under
the minimum.
2) The car is stopped and the parking
brake handle is pulled up.
WARNING
When the parking brake system
indicator light comes on, please
inspect the car immediately, as it is
quite dangerous to keep driving.
Contact the BYD service shops to
inspect the car in the following cases:
1) When the start button is at gear ON;
the indicator light will not come on
even if the parking brake is engaged.
2) When the start button is at gear ON;
the indicator light will not go out
even if the parking brake is
released.
SRS Indicator Light
The indicator light is used to monitor
the air bag system.
When the start button is at gear ON,
the indicator light will come on for
about 5 s and then go out, which
means that SRS is working normally.
If any of the following occurs, it means
that something is wrong with SRS.
Please contact the BYD service shops
for inspection as soon as possible:
When the start button is at gear ON,
the indicator light is not on or is on
constantly.
This light comes on or flashes
whilst driving.
ABS Indicator
When the start button is at gear ON,
the indicator light will come on for
several seconds and then go out.
If the indicator light is not on when the
start button is at gear ON, or is on at
any other moment, it means that
something is wrong with the ABS.
Please contact the BYD auto sales
service station as soon as possible.
