Check that the collector plate is correctly
positioned at the bottom of the filter tank.
Insert the collector pipe (topped with its
cap) into the hole in the middle of the
collector plate.
Gluing the unions onto the lid:
The transparent union is joined to the waste outlet,
the black union to the inlet and the 3 piece union to
the outlet on the ‘pump’ side.
Caution: avoid using excess glue,
this could damage the ball in the valve.
Carefully pour the sand into the filter and,
using your hand, spread it out evenly.

Orient the pressure gauge and place it in
its housing.
Mounting the pressure gauge:
Working from the top, put the o-ring into the
groove in the lid.
