2.3. HSDPA technology (High Speed Download Packet Access)
HSDPA is improved and extended version of the UMTS-TDD. HSDPA is availability
both for UMTS FDD and for UMTS TDD. HSDPA raise essentially bit rate for downlink. It is
attainment on the programmer level. It is doubling capacity on stations BTS, the basic radio
stations, that allow to process data and signal from more users at one moment. HSDPA is
based on a few innovations of network architecture; because of wheeze it is gets lower
latency, faster reaction on channel change quality and processing of H-ARQ (Hybrid
automatic repeat request) on transmission repeat. Transports channel for HSDPA effectively
uses available frequencies, on which transmits data along packets together. After it these
packets pools among individual users by the help definite algorithms.

Basic delivered set of MR36 includes:

RS-232 and power supply cable PORT1 (RJ45) <-> DiREX-Pro (SubD) cable

• installation CD containing instructions

internal adapter for use of the second SIM card

internal module of port PORT1
Router MR36 is designed for:

mounting to a panel using through holes

possibly to be put on a worktop

The whip antenna is connected to MR36 using an FME connector on the back panel.

2.6. SIM Card Reader
The SIM card reader for 3 V and 1.8 V SIM cards is located on the front panel
of the modem, eventually inside router in case of adapter for the second SIM card. For putting
the modem into operation it is necessary to insert an activated SIM card with unblocked PIN in
the reader.
1. Make sure that the modem is not being power-supplied.
2. Press the small yellow button next to the reader to eject the reader holder.
3. Insert the SIM card in the reader holder and slide it in the reader.
