Bump Check and Calibration
Bump Check
A bump check provides an acknowledgment that the detector is
accurately responding to a test gas.
Procedure Display
To conduct a bump check,
press
Bump Check
C
on the
applicable Docking Module
A
–
indicates that the sensor
is disabled. A
u
indicates that
the test has passed. The
detector is now ready for use.
If a gas test fails,
X
will be
displayed beside the
applicable gas. We
recommend that a calibration
be performed.
If an audible or visual test
fails,
X
will be displayed
beside the applicable test.

section in the MicroDock User
Manual.
Calibration
A calibration test adjusts the sensors sensitivity to improve the
detectors accurate response to a test gas.
Procedure Display
Press
Calibration
C
on the
applicable Docking Module.
Calibration gas is applied to
the detector
A
–
indicates that the sensor
is disabled. A
u
indicates that
the test has passed. The
detector is now ready for use.
If any gas test fails,
X
will be
displayed beside the
applicable test. Refer to the
Troubleshooting section in
the MicroDock User Manual.
