•
Pull the injector out of the pouch by
holding the handling tab.
•
Infuse the OVD into the injector
through the infusion port and fill up
the area indicated by the dotted lines
with the cannula pointed in a direction
perpendicular to the body.
•
Press the release tabs, lift up and remove
the cover from the case.

While fixating the injector body with the
thumb of one hand, advance the slider
with the other hand until it stops,
•
After advancing the slider, implant the IOL
within 3 minutes.
•
Remove the injector from the case.
•
Verify leading haptic position.
•
Make sure that the leading haptic
extends forward.
•
Push the injector knob forward until
it stops.
•
Slowly rotate the knob clockwise,
carefully observing that the rod tip pushes
the optic edge in the center and does not
override or slip under the optic.
•
If no issues are observed, go immediately
to implantation Steps G through J.
