5.7.1 Limit switch
The door has a limit switch so that obstructions encountered by the bottom door panel while the door is closing
are detected (e.g. due an object or the integrated anti-drop protection system).

Result The door reverses direction if it encounters an obstacle during downward movement.
5.7.2 Optoelectronic sensitive edge
The door has a safety edge so that the presence of a person or object is detected while closing the door while
applying the automatic stopping principle (by touching).

Design A transmitter and a receiver are located in the rubber profile.
Placement At the primary closing edge of the lower door panel (in the hollow rubber profile)
Operation Triggered when force is applied to the rubber profile
Function When an obstacle is hit within the monitoring area, the rubber profile disforms, which
interrupts the light beam of the sensitive edge.
Result The signal is provided to the control unit: while closing, the door movement is stopped
and the door reverses direction.
5.7.3 Overload protection
Mechanically operated overload protection (for HT150XL: pressure limitation valve) prevents major property
damage due to a mechanical overload.

Note!
The door system is no longer ready for operation after overload protection is triggered. The door system
must be inspected again before putting it back into operation. Please contact the manufacturer or dealer
for this.
