Checking the Machine on Delivery
All parts are carefully checked before dispatch or delivery.
On receiving the machine, ensure that it has not been damaged during transport. If damage has occurred,
contact the dealer concerned.
Details of packing are given below.
Make sure the area around the machine is clear before lowering the wings. Do not lower the
tedder wings when people or pets are near the rotary tedder or folding mechanism. The
tedder must be attached to the tractor when the wings are folded.
Unpacking the Machine
• Lift the machine using a forklift truck, crane or other suitable equipment of sufficient capacity after first
checking the weight of the configurations in the table given below.
• Check the stability and positioning of the load on the forklift truck forks or crane hook.
• Keep the load as low as possible during movement for maximum stability and to ensure that the operator
has maximum visibility.
• If a forklift truck is used, ensure that the forks are positioned as wide apart as possible.

Use caution and wear protective gloves when handling sharp objects such as blades,
knives, and other cutting edges. Be alert to worn component surfaces which have sharp
edges. Sharp surfaces can inflict severe laceration injuries if proper hand protection is not
worn.

Never work under the Implement, the framework, or any lifted
component unless the Implement is securely supported or blocked up
to prevent sudden or inadvertent falling which could cause serious
injury or even death.
