The devices supports Wi-Fi standards IEEE 802.11 b / IEEE 802.11 g and WPA/WPA2
encoding methods.
– Not every manufacturer of Wi-Fi components (routers / access points) has implemented
these standards into its products with sufficient care. Various Internet forums report that
this problem may cause interrupted transmissions.
– Pure IEEE 802.11 n operation is not supported. The device does not set up a
connection to the access point. IEEE 802.1 1b/g/n mixed mode, on the other hand, is
supported.
– Recently, mixed mode has been deactivated during firmware updates to routers and
access points (e.g. AVM Fritz!Box).
Mixed networks 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

If a router or access point supports both transmission frequencies, faults / problems may
occur when the device accesses it.
– Deactivate the 5 GHz clock cycle unless absolutely required.
– Practical experience has shown that some laptops crash with a blue screen in case of
operation at both transmission frequencies.
