Note:
Please note that when using this type of calibration for strain gage full-bridge
sensors and potentiometric sensors, the measurement result also depends on the
excitation voltage.
Thus if you wish to verify that the instrument is working properly with sensors that
produce a voltage signal, you must measure the sensor excitation voltage using a
precision digital voltmeter and then use it to calculate the calibration voltage, or
else you should select the “DC-R” setting under “Measuring mode” in order for the
excitation correction factors to be included automatically. This measurement
method is recommended.
